Contemporary musician Tytan Skhokho, real name Njabulo Nkomo, has finally spoken out following allegations that he used socialite Olinda Chapel to get a United Kingdom Visa and to live an affluent lifestyle.
The 30-year-old musician married Olinda Chapel who is 6 years his senior months after she separated from her second husband, rapper Stunner in acrimonious circumstances.
Tytan’s relationship with Olinda was also in the public eye with Olinda frequently posting photos of the couple looking lovey-dovey. However, the relation was also plagued with its own issues after Olinda accused Tytan of cheating on her on more than one occasion.
Things came to a head last August after Tytan released a statement saying that he was separating from Olinda and that he had been a victim of domestic abuse . He claimed that he was receiving “support from a strong legal team and domestic abuse services”.
This did not go down well with the heart-broken Olinda who claimed that she did not understand why he had chosen this course of action. She accused Tytan of using her to get “papers” to stay in the United Kingdom.
Olinda recently filed divorce papers in the United Kingdom in which she accused Tytan of hoodwinking her into believing he was in love with her in an elaborate scheme to get leave to stay in the United Kingdom.
Until now the Tytan has not directly responded to the allegations.
However, he has since confronted the issue head after he told his Instagram followers that he would answer any question on the social media application. After telling his followers:
“Let’s catch up! Ask me a question and I’ll answer anything within reason.”
One of Tytan’s followers asked, “Was OC a visa strategy?”
To which Tytan played dumb and replied guardedly saying,
“I don’t know what that is. She was my wife and is the mother to my beautiful daughter Nandi Amari Tadiwa NKOMO.”
I genuinely hope you are doing well but I am curious. Did you really do it for the money like they say?
Again the musician was coy and chose to answer the question without answering it saying,
